Closure gives the brain a sense of completion. When something ends abruptly — a relationship, a job, a friendship — the mind keeps searching for answers.
But closure doesn’t always come from others. Sometimes it’s a decision we make: to accept what happened, to release the need for explanation, to move forward with self‑compassion.
