
About Monique (Tigs) (She/Her)
With a background in Photography, Tigs has always been a keen observer of human behaviour for many years and has a passion for the uniqueness of each person’s story. For several years Tigs has worked with a range of NDIS participants with mental health challenges. She works from a client centred approach and has experience working with teenagers and adults with anxiety, depression and adjustment difficulties.
Tigs works with a diverse range of clients across the lifespan. She has a particular interest in couples work, and enjoys working with adults and adolescents. She provides group and individual interventions as well as a range of assessments.
Work Days: Monday and Wednesday in Yarra Junction, and Tuesday in Warragul.
Qualifications
Bachelor of Psychological Sciences (Honours), Masters of Psychological Practice (Candidate)
Therapeutic Approaches
Tigs works from a Humanistic framework with a strengths based focus. Her approach fosters a warm and collaborative environment in which to raise and address concerns. She utilises evidence based practices such as Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Mindfulness, Psychoeducation, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy.
